Sask Energy School Tours

The SaskEnergy School Tour

is sponsored by SaskEnergy and delivered by local mushers to interested schools in the Prince Albert Area.
The Gateway North Sled Dog Race Association takes requests from schools and co-ordinates local mushers to present their sport to the classrooms. They get to see and touch the equipment, the dogs and the musher.

Teachers that would like a visit from real dog sledder and his dogs, please contact us at race@canadianchallenge.com

Please remember that this program is run by volunteers. Also the dogsledders that visit the schools get very busy as race time approaches. Ask for your visit well before race time to improve your chances of getting a musher to visit your school. Some years demand is is very high and we may not be able to visit every school that makes a request.

Good Morning Stefaan
Thank you again for coming out to Turgeon school and talking to the grade 1 and 3 students. It was great to see the excitement and interest that the students had about dogsled racing. I’ve included a few pictures of your presentation. Donna
