2012 Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race Trail
The Canadian Challenge goes from Prince Albert to La Ronge. A 500+Km (approx. 320 miles) race that brings musher and dog to what they call "the gates to the north".
The Canadian Challenge Trail has a wide variety of trails. Mushers and their teams must be prepared to run long stretches of lake travel, narrow bush trails etc. Highway travel and crossings are kept to a minimum. The trails will be marked and groomed by the Canadian Challenge Trail committee.
Please note that 2012 Canadian Challenge Race Trail details may change due to weather conditions.
